The Division of Management Services is currently recruiting to fill an Enterprise Infrastructure Section Chief (Management Information Chief) position. This position will be headquartered at the DOC central office in Madison, WI.
Position SummaryThis position leads and manages the Enterprise Infrastructure Section and its five component teams: (1) Facilities Infrastructure and Innovative Technologies (FIIT); (2) Desktop Support; (3) Server Support; (4) Telecom Support; and (5) the Field Support. This unit provides infrastructure services for the other BTM sections and all the organization’s locations.
This position is responsible for the DOC’s internet access including filtering and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications along with first tier installation and support for all information technologies ranging from computers to surveillance systems, desktops/laptops, printers to Body Worn Cameras (BWCs), from first call to final resolution. Specific duties of this section include: all types of electronic communications, from cellular to digital to video;
DOC’s servers and virtual servers at all DOC locations and the DET Data Centers including support for cloud services; delivery and setup of all electronic equipment throughout DOC, from PCs to iPhones to medical gear; remote and in-person maintenance on all DOC IT equipment. This section also manages DOC’s unmanned aerial vehicles generally termed as UAVs and more commonly as drones.
Information
The starting pay is between $124800 and $135657 per year, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. The pay schedule/range is 70-02. A two-year Career Executive trial period is required.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application. The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.

NOTE:
This position is eligible to work remotely up to 3 days per week. For positions that allow remote working flexibility, working outside of Wisconsin will not be allowed.
