This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer. The Cloud Engineer analyzes, designs, develops, and implements cloud infrastructure solutions to support mission requirements and enterprise modernization initiatives. This role evaluates technical and management cloud‑infrastructure needs, participates in selecting and deploying Open Stack distributions, and ensures full integration into a hybrid cloud environment. The engineer works closely with cross‑functional technical teams to automate infrastructure, optimize performance, enhance security, and mature the organization’s hybrid IT ecosystem into a fully automated, service‑oriented environment.

The role also supports cloud operations, monitoring, security compliance, and the development of scalable, automated solutions that strengthen enterprise‑wide cloud capabilities.

This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets.
