This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Who We AreHII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Software Quality Engineer. The Software Quality Engineer provides expert guidance on automation frameworks, testing standards, and quality‑assurance best practices to ensure consistent and effective software testing across projects. This role balances automated and manual testing methodologies to validate performance, functionality, and overall quality throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer designs performance‑testing infrastructure, develops performance‑strategy plans, supports metric and analysis documentation, and participates in product validation and acceptance efforts.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing existing automation, debugging software issues, producing required documentation, coaching teams on testing standards, and applying modern development practices such as Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops .
This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets.
