This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII
- Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.
HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. Who We AreHII
- Mission Technologies is seeking a Strategic Planner. The Strategic Planner develops, reviews, and refines planning documentation that supports operational readiness, strategic alignment, and mission success across complex defense and national-security environments. This role produces structured studies and planning products - such as CONOPS, roadmaps, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), operational architectures, and strategic or implementation plans - incorporating both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
The planner evaluates national-security policy, military strategy, defense-planning guidance, threat projections, and intelligence estimates to ensure plans are aligned with governing doctrine, operational requirements, and future mission needs. The position also provides mission analysis, develops courses of action, and drafts supporting war plans covering both contingency and operational scenarios.
This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets.
