• Supports delivery of projects developed by Celestica's Global Design Services organization.
• Provides direction for source selection and ensures proper process implementation.
• Works with the Commodity Management teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth
• plans.
• Works with the supply chain management process for customers, from materials pricing and BOM analysis to
• delivery execution and flexibility performance.
• Quotes and negotiates critical high dollar or strategic commodities, or provides direction to a team of
• commodity managers.
• Provides support in the analysis of costed customer bids or quarterly BOM Costing exercises for global
• customers.
• Works with Global Design team to optimize Design for supply chain performance of Celestica products.
• Provides direction to Commodity Management teams on contract negotiations.
• Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers.
• Provides leadership and direction with respect to interaction with suppliers. Leads process development and
• development of commodity strategies.
• Has regular communication with customers related to demand, commitments, non-performing inventory, and
• future process changes /improvements.
• Supports projects or programs on a global basis.
• Ability to interact with employees at all levels including executives and/or major customers.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, distribution methods, and global
• transportation services and inventory management.
• Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications.
• Good knowledge in all areas of import / export, regulatory and logistics management
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally
• Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external
• customers.
• Able to work effectively cross- functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives.
• Frequent travel to related sites is required (up to 25%)

9+ years of relevant experience and previous experience within electronic manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Engineering or Materials Management), or consideration of an equivalent
• combination of education and experience

This is a remote position, with travel as necessary.
