Senior Security Data Scientist (Python) at Baires Dev

In this role, you'll apply quantitative analytics and statistical modeling to large-scale security data, turning raw signals into insights that drive risk prioritization and decision-making. Working across analytical pipelines and data warehouses, you'll build models that help security teams understand and act on what matters most. This is your opportunity to apply data science rigor to one of the most consequential domains in technology, where your analysis directly shapes how risk is understood and addressed at scale.

What

You'll Do:
  • Perform quantitative analytics on large-scale security data to uncover patterns and drive risk insights.
  • Build analytical pipelines using Python, including statistical modeling and feature engineering.
  • Query and analyze large datasets across modern data warehouses.
  • Develop risk models incorporating vulnerability scoring frameworks and contextual signals.
  • Communicate findings through visualization and reporting for both engineering and leadership audiences.
What we are looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics.
  • Strong experience with quantitative analytics on large-scale security data.
  • Proficiency in Python including pandas, Num Py, and scikit-learn for analytical pipelines.
  • Solid background in statistical modeling and feature engineering.
  • Experience with SQL and large-data analysis on warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Query.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scoring frameworks such as CVSS, EPSS, or KEV, and risk modeling.
  • Experience integrating environmental, insider-risk, and threat-intel context into prioritization.
  • Strong visualization and reporting skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
How we do make your work (and your life) easier:
  • 100% remote work (from anywhere).
  • Excellent compensation in USD or your local currency if preferred
  • Hardware and software setup for you to work from home.
  • Flexible hours: create your own schedule.
  • Paid parental leaves, vacations, and holidays.
  • Innovative and multicultural work environment: collaborate and learn from the global Top 1% of talent.
  • Supportive environment with mentorship, promotions, skill development, and diverse growth opportunities.
