IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst

Duties Description
The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) is the state’s student financial aid agency, responsible for centrally administering New York’s major college aid programs. It oversees grants, scholarships, loan-forgiveness programs, and related services - including flagship programs like the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), the Excelsior Scholarship, and other State scholarships. HESC awards nearly $1 billion in financial aid to more than 330,000 students each year.
Seven (7) years
* of Test experience, including but not limited to system regression, end to end implementation, automated, performance, and smoke testing. This experience must include the development of Testing plans (functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing), Test cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Test scripts, including automation of testing and quality assurance plans.
- An associate degree may substitute for two years of experience
- A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of experience
- A master’s degree may substitute for five years of experience
