Mainframe System Admin - Hybrid role

Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Unisys Clear Path MCP (Libra) mainframe systems
, ensuring high performance, reliability, and availability of the enterprise mainframe environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Unisys Clear Path Libra mainframe installation, configuration, and administration.
• Experience with Clear Path Software Series VM installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of systems programming concepts, messaging, queuing, database organization, and disk I/O.
• Experience with:
• Network and storage connectivity
• Software installation and upgrades
• General knowledge of Windows networking, iSCSI, and integration between Windows, Linux, and Unisys mainframe environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Unisys MCP technologies including DMSII, COMS, CANDE/WFL, CCF, Security Center, System Assistant, NX/Services, OLEDB, Secure-Transport, Log Analyzer, and Programmer's Work Bench
  .
• Experience with system troubleshooting, program dumps, and Unisys support processes.
• Knowledge of MCP software patching, Interim Corrections, and software compilation.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, NX/NET, Win RPC, and Libra networking concepts.
• Experience with SAN/storage administration (EMC storage arrays, Cisco MDS).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and general cloud computing concepts.

• Install, configure, and support Unisys Clear Path MCP mainframe systems and related hardware/software.
• Perform system configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Configure network and storage connectivity for mainframe environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Unisys support when required.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams.
• Provide technical guidance on operating system components and performance optimization.
• Develop utilities and automation to improve system operations.
