Cal Matters/The Markup seeks an experienced transcription professional to support legislative transcription workflows, data tagging, and quality assurance. You will review hearings, log discussions, and help process legislative data for real-time transcription pipelines.
You will work with SQL queries, AI speech-to-text tools, and data pipelines, coordinating a small team to ensure accurate records. Remote role with occasional travel to Sacramento and San Luis Obispo.
