Kubernetes Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Engineer to design, deploy, and manage highly available containerized applications in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and automation, with a passion for building scalable and reliable platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, manage, and optimize production-grade Kubernetes clusters, with a preference for Amazon EKS.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Create and enhance automation scripts using Python to streamline operational processes.
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes workloads and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
- Implement containerization best practices and ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments, preferably Amazon EKS.
- Solid understanding of AWS core services and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and container build/deployment workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Exposure to application development or architecture using Java and/or Python.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog or Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and container orchestration best practices.
