The Role
Join our Service Now practice as a Developer or Engineer focused on CMDB. Design, configure, and improve CMDB solutions to enhance data accuracy and automate discovery. Strengthen ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management functions through Service Now. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to align solutions with business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy Service Now solutions focused on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules for better data visibility and efficiency.
- Configure identification and reconciliation rules, CI classes, and relationships.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Orchestration.
- Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, and audits to maintain CMDB data integrity.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to CMDB data, integrations, and system performance.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous process improvements.
- Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Over 3 years of hands-on Service Now development or engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Service Now configuration.
- Experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM.
- Understanding of Discovery, MID Server setup, and integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.
- Ability to create technical documentation and solution designs.
