Service Now Developer

Everforth ECS is seeking a Service Now Developer to work onsite at the US Postal Service's Maintenance and Technical Support Service Center (MTSC) in Norman, OK.

This position can be authorized for a hybrid work schedule, with 4-days per week onsite in Norman, OK and the day work from home (WFH).

In this role, you will support our internal Service Now instance and Customer Portals, and facilitate internal Service Now development, implementations and delivery goals. As a Service Now Developer, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions, including the technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configuration.

  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Development, System Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Service Now ITSM experience in a development or consulting role.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.
  • Prior experience supporting government agencies or contracts.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and administering Service Now, including platform configuration, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on development experience with custom workflows, scripts, portal design, and system integrations within Service Now.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, and ITSM best practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, with working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Ability to implement and maintain automated processes and workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Experience providing user training and technical documentation.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with IT security policies, firewalls, and cybersecurity principles in a government context.

To be considered candidates must be able to obtain a USPS Public Trust background clearance. This requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card), and the ability to pass an in-depth background check.
