At Sim Corp, we support some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to manage their investments, accounting, and operations more effectively by simplifying them. We are looking for the Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultant to join our Testing Services team and help drive testing delivery across multiple client engagements. This role combines practical testing, project leadership, and direct client collaboration.
Senior Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultants are experienced professionals who play a critical role in safeguarding and improving the quality of Sim Corp client solutions by delivering structured, high-quality testing services and best-practice testing approaches across Sim Corp Dimension and related platforms. Their work directly supports earlier defect detection, increased test coverage, and higher levels of test automation. By applying standard testing frameworks, leveraging automation where possible, and maintaining deep knowledge of client-specific business processes, financial workflows, and investment management concepts, they help ensure that solutions meet both functional and business expectations.
Their understanding of financial instruments, portfolio management, trading, accounting, and related operational processes enables them to validate complex end-to-end scenarios, reduce risk during releases, improve end-user experience, and strengthen overall client confidence in Sim Corp’s solutions.
- Analyzing and clarifying complex business and functional requirements to ensure shared understanding of scope, risks, and quality expectations
- Designing, executing, and maintaining test scenarios and test cases aligned with business needs
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders through meetings on requirements, testing approach, progress, and outcomes
- Documenting and presenting test results, defects, and quality risks in a clear and structured way
- Supporting incident and defect management through analysis, documentation, and reporting to enable timely resolution and continuous improvement
- Educational background in STEM or Finance
- Financial knowledge in investment banking and accounting
- Know-how in at least one of the following areas:
Front Office, Back Office, Accounting processes or Financial Transaction Workflows - 3+ years of experience in software testing or a comparable background
- Practical coding experience (C# preferred; Python, JavaScript, or Power Shell also welcome) or strong tech‑savviness
- Experience in creating test automation scripts and scenarios is highly welcome
- Experience in usage of versioning control (Git/Azure Dev Ops or similar)
- Hands‑on experience working within Agile methodology
- Strong analytical approach and attention to detail
- Solution‑oriented problem‑solving
- Proven ability to ensure high client satisfaction
- Effective under time pressure
- Team player eager to share knowledge

- Clear communication and consulting skills
- Fluency in English (min. B2+ or C1)
