Senior Security Data Scientist & Python Engineer at Baires Dev
As a Senior Security Data Scientist & Python Engineer, you will apply quantitative analytics and statistical modeling to large-scale security data, turning raw signals into insights that drive risk prioritization and decision-making. You will focus on designing and deploying machine learning models that help security teams identify, analyze, and mitigate threats at scale.
What You'll Do- Perform quantitative analytics on large-scale security data to uncover patterns and drive risk insights.
- Build and optimize analytical pipelines using Python, incorporating statistical modeling and feature engineering.
- Design and develop risk models that incorporate scoring frameworks and contextual signals to prioritize threats.
- Extract and analyze large datasets across modern data platforms to support security operations.
- Communicate findings through data visualization and reporting to both engineering teams and leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Security Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning.
- Solid background in statistics, experimentation, SQL, and feature engineering.
- Experience in model evaluation, deployment, and data visualization.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- 100% remote work (from anywhere).
