You will work closely with Dev Ops, Security, and Application teams to automate infrastructure, improve developer experience, and ensure cloud platforms are secure, compliant, and highly available. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Infrastructure-as-Code mindset and experience in enterprise cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure; developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring reusable, modular, and well-governed deployments; administering and supporting Hashi Corp Vault for secure secrets and credentials management; building, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops; defining, maintaining, and enhancing the Cloud Service Catalogue to enable self-service capabilities for engineering teams;
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, cost-effective, and high-performing cloud solutions; ensuring cloud platforms comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements; maintaining technical documentation, architectural standards, and operational procedures; providing third-line support for cloud platform incidents and coordinating with vendors when required; and continuously identifying opportunities to improve platform automation, monitoring, reliability, and operational efficiency.
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include building reusable Terraform modules for Azure resource provisioning; implementing Azure governance using Azure AD, RBAC, and native IAM capabilities; configuring and managing Hashi Corp Vault for secure secrets management across cloud environments; designing and maintaining Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing and security scanning; reviewing infrastructure changes to ensure alignment with security, compliance, and engineering best practices;
working closely with Dev Ops, Security, and Development teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience; supporting platform upgrades, maintenance, and patching activities while minimizing service disruption; monitoring cloud infrastructure performance and implementing improvements to increase reliability and efficiency; and contributing to internal technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering communities.
Technical skills include strong hands-on experience managing and automating Microsoft Azure infrastructure; advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices; experience implementing and administering Hashi Corp Vault; strong experience building and maintaining Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines; good understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and governance services; experience with service catalogues and self-service platform capabilities; scripting experience using Power Shell, Bash, or Python;
and solid understanding of Dev Sec Ops principles and secure cloud architecture.
Experience includes proven experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms within regulated environments; experience integrating secrets management into CI/CD pipelines; experience developing reusable Terraform modules for large-scale cloud deployments; experience improving developer productivity through automation and self-service platforms; and strong collaboration skills, with experience working across infrastructure, security, and development teams.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104);
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert (AZ-400);
Hashi Corp Terraform Associate;
Hashi Corp Vault Certification; and ITIL Foundation (or equivalent Service Management knowledge). Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
