As a Network Engineer Senior you will be a key member of the network infrastructure team providing senior-level network engineering services in the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise network. This includes Campus, Datacenter, Remote Sites, Cloud, and third-party network connectivity. Some but not all network services include Routing, Switching, VPN, Load Balancing, Wireless networking, Optical networking, Firewalls, and Virtual Networking.

NOTE:

This position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on-site visits to locations such as downtown Phoenix and County data centers. Travel to various job-related sites may be required during the workday and must comply with County policies regarding the use of County or personal vehicles for official business.

• Five years of experience in network operations and engineering, which includes:
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing networking solutions
• Experience in Enterprise LAN/WAN and Wireless topologies
• Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, NSX-T, ACI, Multicast, Telco Services, VPN, and network automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
• A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
