our client is currently seeking a qualified it asset management technician to join their team onsite in plano, tx and provide end-user support.
duties and responsibilities- manage pc inventory room while registering newly received pcs with asset tags into client system
- process defective pc repair through pc repair service vendor
- disposal of aged pc / hard drives through disposal vendor, and remove asset from the client database
- provide phone and support and new hire status updates to hr
- deployment and retrieval of pcs to users and tier 1 it at onsite / remote offices
- provide support for and maintenance of printers
- experience using microsoft excel for database management, creating charts and pivot tables
- good communication and customer support skills
- must be organized / detail-oriented
the rate for this position is between $20.25 - $27.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
