Workday Security Lead
B&A is looking for a Workday Security Lead to join a contract in support of an important mission. This role will be the Security Lead for the Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management upgrade project. Responsibilities include working with the functional team to provide security inputs into business justification documentation, reviewing security functional team members to validate specifications, designing and writing security technical specifications, developing security test conditions/scripts of data, configuring security based upon specification, unit testing security configuration to validate that security operates and performs as designed, validating security configuration has been timely and accurately migrated to all project-related databases, creating security-related documentation assigned and confirming all has been completed, updated, and approved, reviewing security role/row-level and permission list, database(s), validating quality maintenance of data dictionaries and master files related to security, planning, scheduling, and performing security-related work, assisting in analyzing functional and technical security-related patches, confirming project impact, assisting in creation/revision to security reports/inquiries, and overseeing that the security support team is timely and accurately fulfilling security requests.
Education and Experience:
More than 7 years of Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management implementation / upgrade experience is required, as a security lead.
Qualifications:
Hands on and extensive experience designing and configuring role and row-level security, extensive experience working on teams comprised of integrated client, consulting firm, and/or independent Workday consultants, experience with Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management upgrade and/or implementation security tasks and deliverables at higher education, public sector, or healthcare industry clients, experience performing security-related work on upgrade and/or implementation projects in a multi-entity shared services transaction processing environment with employee populations of greater than 50,000, expertise with integrating with Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management, expertise with Microsoft Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, MS Project, and SharePoint and/or equivalent.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of financials and supply chain management transaction processing and enterprise performance management (EPM) database elements, relationships, and query concepts and security components, ability to keep data confidential, strong problem solving and analytic skillsets, strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to create user and project security documentation and procedures, clearly and concisely, strong meeting facilitation and interviewing skills, ability to work well with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization, extensive coaching and collaborating skills and overseeing high quality and timely deliverable creation, ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced organization.
