Business Analyst

Varmoda is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Infrastructure Services initiatives across Networking, Server Operations, Workstation Services, Microsoft 365, VoIP Telecommunications, and Service Center teams. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of technology initiatives. This role requires a self-starter who takes ownership of project assignments and delivers high-quality solutions that enhance business operations and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and technology solutions.
• Develop detailed business and technical requirements, functional specifications, and project documentation.
• Support Infrastructure Services projects across networking, servers, workstations, Microsoft 365, telecommunications, and service management environments.
• Conduct data analysis and translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
• Design, document, test, and implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.
• Create and maintain business procedures, process documentation, and operational support materials.
• Develop Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Contract Scope of Deliverables documentation.
• Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support for implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify issues, obstacles, risks, and opportunities while recommending effective solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities across concurrent projects and initiatives.
• Ensure deliverables are completed according to approved specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Champion a customer-focused approach to service delivery and business process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology projects.
• Experience working on Infrastructure Services projects involving:
  Networking, Server Technologies, Workstation Services, Microsoft 365, VoIP Telecommunications, Service Center Operations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity Suite.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
• Experience performing business process analysis and solution design.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing technical documentation, business procedures, and operational processes.
• Experience supporting software testing, implementation, and user adoption activities.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, risks, obstacles, and opportunities while implementing effective solutions.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and stakeholder support.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting local government, county government, or public-sector IT environments.
• Experience developing and managing Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Experience writing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Contract Scope of Deliverables documents.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies and IT service management processes.
• Experience providing training, mentoring, and end-user support.
• Experience working across multiple technology domains within large organizations.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
• Relevant Business Analysis or Project Management certifications

Clearance

• Candidate must be able to successfully complete Oakland County background check requirements.
