Part-Time Senior Data Analytics & Location-Based Services (LBS) Lead

BVA Bear's IT Solutions is seeking a part-time Senior Data Analytics & Location-Based Services (LBS) Lead. This role leads evaluation of LBS data, analytical methodologies, provider comparisons, data integration opportunities, and development of data-driven recommendations supporting visitor-use management and strategic decision-making. The location of this position, when needed on-site, is Harrisburg, PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate multiple LBS providers and methodologies
• Assess data quality, coverage, accuracy, and analytical capabilities
• Analyze visitor origins, travel patterns, dwell times, and visitation trends
• Support development of case studies and comparative assessments
• Identify data gaps and integration opportunities
• Develop analytical reports, findings, and recommendations
• Support economic, recreation, and operational analyses
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Geography, GIS, Statistics, Planning, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, mobility data, GIS, or data assessment
• Experience evaluating large datasets and analytical methodologies
• Strong reporting, visualization, and communication skills
• Experience supporting public-sector or consulting engagements preferred
