We are seeking an exceptional Atlassian Cloud Architect to lead Crowd Strike's future in Atlassian Cloud. This role is critical in maintaining and securing our primary work management platform used by 12,000+ employees globally. As the Atlassian Cloud Architect, you will work in a team of experienced Atlassian professionals and be responsible for platform architecture, performance and cost optimization, and integration with our identity and security frameworks.
The ideal candidate will combine deep Atlassian expertise with strong security knowledge and excellent platform engineering abilities. The Atlassian Cloud Architect drives the design, governance, and scaling of Crowd Strike's Atlassian SaaS ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management). This role bridges technical delivery with business objectives, managing end-to-end migrations, platform standardization, workflow automation, and marketplace app governance.
- Platform Architecture & Governance:
Design and maintain the overarching Atlassian Cloud architecture, defining standardized templates, reusable patterns, and user permissions across various business units. - Migration & Consolidation:
Lead end-to-end migrations (Data Center and Cloud) or other tool chains to Atlassian Cloud. Establish roll-out strategies, data mappings, and post-migration validation. - App & Integration Ecosystem:
Evaluate, approve, and manage Atlassian Marketplace applications for security, scalability, and operational fit. Integrate Atlassian products with external Dev Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines via REST APIs and webhooks. - Workflow Optimization & Automation:
Translate business and engineering needs into structured workflows and practical automation rules to reduce manual friction. - Traceability & Compliance:
Design traceability models linking requirements to delivery, testing, and operational handovers to ensure regulated SDLC practices are maintained. - Stakeholder Management & Mentorship:
Bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams. Define review processes and provide technical mentorship. - Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
- Experience:
5+ years of hands‑on experience in Atlassian platform engineering, system administration, or solution architecture. - Experience with identity integration/platforms (Okta).
- Cloud Expertise:
Deep, practical understanding of Atlassian Cloud capabilities, including Atlassian Guard and Advanced Roadmaps. - SDLC Knowledge:
Strong grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) workflows spanning product management, QA, release management, and Agile methodologies. - Technical
Skills:
