We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Supplier Master Functional Lead to lead Supplier Master Data Governance initiatives across enterprise SAP environments. This role requires deep expertise in SAP MDG-S (Supplier Master),
SAP S/4

HANA
, and supplier lifecycle management processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and support Supplier Master governance solutions while ensuring data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Lead SAP MDG Supplier Master design, configuration, and implementation activities.
• Facilitate business workshops and gather functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Define supplier governance processes, approval workflows, and data management standards.
• Provide leadership through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.

• Configure SAP MDG Supplier data models and governance processes.
• Design and configure Change Request Types, workflows, and business rules.
• Develop BRF+ validations, derivations, and duplicate-checking rules.
• Support SAP Fiori-based Supplier Master governance applications.
• Partner with technical teams on enhancements, integrations, and custom solutions.

• Establish and enforce supplier data standards, governance policies, and controls.
• Lead supplier onboarding and maintenance process improvements.
• Support data quality initiatives, cleansing efforts, and deduplication activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, financial, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Support integrations between SAP MDG, SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP ECC, Ariba, and third-party platforms.
• Partner with data migration teams during supplier conversion and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production validation testing activities.

• Serve as the primary functional lead for Supplier Master Data initiatives.
• Advise business and IT leadership on governance strategies and best practices.
• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, training materials, and governance policies.
• Mentor junior consultants and offshore team members.

• 3-5+ full lifecycle SAP MDG implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP MDG Supplier Master (MDG-S).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA and Business Partner concepts.
• Strong understanding of Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) processes.
• Experience supporting procurement and supplier master data governance initiatives.
• Proven experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong knowledge of supplier onboarding, data quality, and governance best practices.

• Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP Ariba.
• Knowledge of Data Replication Framework (DRF).
• Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or migration programs.
• Prior experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or enterprise procurement organizations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience leading onsite and offshore teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
