Qualifications

The regional Infrastructure Operation Resiliency Service Delivery Leads (SDL) are responsible for ensuring the resiliency and stability of the technology infrastructure in a hybrid work arrangement based in Tempe, AZ with some work-from-home flexibility. The other two regional SDLs are located in APAC and EMEA.

This contract role involves assessing infrastructure risks, designing and improving resiliency strategies, and coordinating disaster recovery and business continuity activities for critical systems and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with operations, engineering, and security teams to implement redundancy, monitoring, and incident response processes; reviewing and refining infrastructure disaster recovery and business continuity runbooks; and ensuring infrastructure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

The role also includes leading resilience testing exercises, analyzing incidents and outages to identify root causes, and presenting findings and remediation plans to technology leadership and stakeholders.

  • Strong infrastructure operations skills, including with data centers, networks, servers, storage, middleware, database - in hybrid or cloud environments.
  • Expertise in resiliency and continuity, such as disaster and point in time recovery planning, business continuity, high availability design, and failover testing.
  • Skills in monitoring and incident management, including use of observability tools, incident response coordination, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Governance and risk skills, including operational risk assessment, control design, compliance with technology policies, and documentation of standards and procedures.
  • Communication and leadership skills, including stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, concise reporting to senior leaders, and the ability to lead technical and non-technical teams through resilience initiatives.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a BS (or related experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and certifications in infrastructure, cloud, or continuity (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure, CBCP) are beneficial.
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries, and familiarity with regulatory expectations related to operational resilience, is advantageous.
