Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our companys databases. Your main duties will include designing, implementing, and monitoring database systems to ensure maximum performance and availability. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing regular backups, and ensuring data security.

• Design and implement database systems based on user requirements
• Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot any issues with the databases and take corrective actions
• Perform regular backups to ensure data is recoverable in case of system failure or disaster
• Ensure data security by implementing access controls and regularly updating security protocols
• Collaborate with other teams to understand their data needs and provide support as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends
• Train users on how to properly access and use the databases

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
• Proficiency in SQL and other database management languages
• Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of data integrity principles and best practices for data management
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Certification in Database Administration or related field
• Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python

$1600 per month negotiable
