Kforce is seeking a Remote Payroll System Integrations Specialist to support payroll system integrations, migrations, process improvements, and payroll operations across multiple locations. This role needs to be driving distance to El Segundo, CA for occasional once every 4-8 week onsite meetings. This role requires quarterly travel for 3-5 days in the domestic USA.

This position will partner closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient payroll processes, system functionality, compliance, and data accuracy. Responsibilities:

  • Support payroll software integration and migration projects
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to integrate payroll systems with HRIS and financial platforms
  • Assist with system implementations and ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Analyze payroll data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Support payroll process improvement initiatives across multiple locations
  • Work with benefits, compliance, and implementation teams to support payroll system updates and changes
  • Conduct payroll system audits to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance
  • Review payroll processes for minimum wage, overtime, and multi-state compliance
  • Manage payroll system security, user access, and governance controls
  • Configure, test, and implement payroll system updates, enhancements, and new functionality
  • Create and maintain payroll system rules to support new business policies
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies
  • Recommend and implement payroll best practices
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related projects and initiatives
  • Communicate payroll matters to leadership, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Support capacity-building initiatives, automation efforts, ticketing processes, and operational improvements
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-6+ years of payroll system integration experience required
  • Experience supporting payroll system implementations, integrations, or migrations
  • Experience working with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and payroll-related data
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data management
  • Experience with vendor management and external system partners
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting, analytics, or similar tools
  • Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Payroll management experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting multi-state payroll environments preferred
  • Paylocity experience is highly preferred
  • Consulting, advisory, or large-scale transformation experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  • Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
  • Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
