We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst – Human Resources to join our Business Solutions & Support team. This role serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the firm's Human Resources technology ecosystem, with a strong focus on the UKG platform. Working closely with Human Resources, Payroll, and operational leadership, this position will drive system optimization, process improvement, reporting, analytics, and technology enhancements that support the employee lifecycle across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines deep HR technology expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for MGC's HR technology ecosystem, including UKG Pro HCM, Workforce Management (WFM), Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and People Analytics.
- Own UKG-related systems, workflows, integrations, configuration, reporting, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate new UKG features and releases and recommend adoption based on business value and operational impact.
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize system workflows, security roles, reporting structures, and integrations across UKG, Aderant, Pro Law, and related platforms.

- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize system workflows, security roles, reporting structures, and integrations across UKG, Aderant, Pro Law, and related platforms.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Partner closely with the Director of Payroll & Benefits, HR leadership, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, reporting enhancements, and system optimization.
- Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and streamlined workflows.
- Conduct regular audits of systems, data, and processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead HR technology initiatives and enhancement projects from planning through implementation, testing, training, and ongoing support.
- Track work consistently within the firm's project management systems, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and visibility into project progress.
- Communicate project status, risks, blockers, and recommendations to leadership stakeholders.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, automate, analyze, and distribute recurring metrics, dashboards, workforce analytics, and ad hoc reports.
- Leverage reporting and analytics to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Manage vendor support cases through resolution, ensuring documentation is complete and solutions are effective.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, operational leaders, vendors, and technical teams to resolve complex system and data-related issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, process guides, and knowledge resources.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members supporting HR systems and technology initiatives.
- Stay current on HR technology trends, platform enhancements, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience supporting HR technology platforms.
- Direct experience administering UKG Pro or comparable UKG platforms.
- Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
