Network Operations Center Role
This role involves providing network and infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and escalation support within a 24×7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. The position is primarily focused on maintaining system uptime by identifying, triaging, and resolving network and infrastructure issues promptly. It offers opportunities for remote work during night shifts and requires on-site presence for day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network, server, and infrastructure alerts continuously across a 24×7 environment.
- Identify, triage, and respond to incidents quickly to minimize system downtime.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to engineering teams as necessary.
- Maintain and update runbooks, monitoring procedures, and documentation.
- Support scheduled change management and maintenance activities.
- Communicate incident status and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support incident resolution and contribute to problem management processes via conference bridges.
- Assist in maintaining monitoring tools and systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for incident escalation and resolution.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and basic understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Experience supporting network operations or NOC environments preferred.
- Basic knowledge of incident response and troubleshooting techniques.
- Certification such as CCNA or similar networking credentials is a plus.
- Prior experience in energy or utilities sectors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Service Now or similar ticketing and service management tools is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including night and day hours.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

- Availability to work on-site as required.
Publishing Pay Range: $15.00 – $17.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
