Location: City of Albany
The Data Analyst 1/Trainee position at the New York Department of Transportation's Office of Data Management supports data-driven decision-making across the department. Keyqualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field
- For Trainee 2:
One year of experience in advanced Excel analysis - For Analyst 1:
Satisfactory completion of two-year traineeship or two years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools - Proficiency in data extraction, aggregation, and quality assurance
- Ability to create charts, graphs, and meaningful data visualizations
- Strong collaborative skills across multiple departments
