1. Data Analysis & Insight Generation Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Excel, R, and Python to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and measurable outcomes. Provide proactive insight into performance drivers including growth, conversion, retention, claims, and profitability. Support forecasting, scenario modeling, and impact analysis for business initiatives.

2. Reporting & Dashboard Development Design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade dashboards and semantic models in Power BI. Develop scalable and efficient data models sourced from Snowflake. Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data definitions. Optimize performance of datasets and visualizations to support premium capacity standards.

3. Data Management & Governance Alignment Partner with data governance and engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity. Identify data gaps and collaborate on remediation efforts. Maintain documentation of data definitions, calculations, and reporting logic. Support regulatory and compliance reporting as needed.

4. Business Consultation & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to business stakeholders. Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate needs into analytical deliverables. Present insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Support strategic initiatives with data‑backed recommendations.

5. Continuous Improvement & Automation Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization. Standardize reporting templates and analytical methodologies. Contribute to innovation efforts, including advanced analytics and AI‑driven use cases.

This is a remote/work from home position. The compensation range for this role is F4.

As a Specialist, Business Insights, you'll extract and manipulate internal and external data through R/SAS/SQL/Python, perform diagnostic and inferential analysis, and communicate actionable insights to business partners.

You’ll also work with business partners to determine data and information needs to aid the business with decision making and build statistical and visual solutions using sophisticated business intelligence tools. And you may serve as a lead to others for information and data needs. Your focus will be to maximize the insight gained from internal and external data, ensuring that business partners are making decisions in an optimally informed way.

Functions as the specialist in data extraction from databases, tables, data warehouses and other sources through R/SAS/SQL/Python. Develops, produces, and maintains inferential, statistical, ad hoc and custom analyses and modeling for functional business areas. May use various data access tools to pull information for reports and solutions. Builds and maintains relationships and serves as a trusted financial and operational measurement resource to clients, internal risk partners and other stakeholders.
