W-Trans is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Coordinator, with the primary focus of tracking and maintaining the organization’s technology equipment and software. This position is available as a part-time hybrid schedule in our Santa Rosa office. This position includes approximately ten hours of work per week, of which at least four hours per week will be conducted in-office, with the option of remote work for the remainder.
An hourly wage between $33 and $43 per hour will be offered depending on level of experience.
W-Trans provides traffic engineering and transportation planning services throughout California with an emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, though we have also done extensive work in the Central Valley and Central Coast regions. We currently have offices in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County) and downtown Oakland, with plans to open an office in Sacramento. We specialize in projects that create more livable streets and sustainable transportation systems while also balancing the need to maintain traffic flow.

- Maintain company-wide software licensing and subscriptions.
- Act as primary point person between the W-Trans and an off-site IT company. This role will frequently coordinate with the off-site IT team to facilitate troubleshooting, repairs, projects, and purchases.
- Manage BQE Core software reports, troubleshooting, and renewal.
- Determine and coordinate IT needs during employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Assist in developing and maintaining company-wide AI policies and procedures.
- Manage any future software adoptions.
- Proactively manage time and workload with minimal supervision; ability to prioritize work and problem solve to meet established deadlines on a variety of simultaneous, sometimes urgent, tasks.
- Possible other IT services depending on experience and number of hours worked.

Skills:
This role requires coordinating with IT professionals for software deployment, finance for purchasing, and coworkers for information and scheduling. - Basic Knowledge of Licensing Models:
Understanding standard billing setups, including per-user, per-device, concurrent use, and modern cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscriptions. - Vendor Portals:
The ability to navigate administrative management platforms, such as the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. - Familiarity with IT inventory or ticketing software.
