Job Description An employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking an Epic Analyst (OpTime or Anesthesia) for a direct hire opportunity. This person will be back filling a recent retiree and be joining a Clinical Applications Team supporting Perioperative applications at a large hospital. The health system supports nearly 15,000 users and will be going live with a recently acquired hospital within the next year.
The team supports surgical specialties and has 12 individuals and manages Beacon, Ambulatory, OpTime, and Anesthesia. This person will be responsible for performing high level technical systems analysis and programming of Perioperative Epic modules. They also will be responsible for managing the application portion of projects from concept to completion, including understanding customer needs and processes to ensure maximum utilization of automation and system availability.
This position is also accountable for application development, modifications of existing and new systems, customer support, consulting and providing information as appropriate to departments, management and the organization. There will be an on-call rotation where they will need to cover 1/12 weeks. They will be required to address customer needs and receive additional compensation for that week. This is a predominantly remote position and require the candidate to come onsite 1-2x a month for upgrades, project meetings, and testing initiatives, so the ideal candidate must reside in IN, OH, or KY within 2.5 hours of Cincinnati.
