The Leaves Client Technology Leader serves as the primary technical authority for a portfolio of leave administration clients, bringing deep expertise in leave plan design, systems configuration, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of all client technology initiatives, including configuration, development, integrations, testing, deployments, defect remediation, and post-production stabilization.

The Client Technology Leader partners with delivery leaders and technical teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and colleague development.

• Lead the integrated delivery plans including planning, prioritization, and execution of all client technology initiatives, including client requested changes, enhancements, defect resolution, regulatory changes, and strategic improvement projects.
• Apply Agile and SDLC methodologies to ensure efficient delivery, high-quality outcomes, and strong project governance.
• Oversee implementation and deployment activities across all technical work streams, proactively managing risks, dependencies, timelines, and priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure technical solutions align with established best practices while meeting client requirements.
• Break complex initiatives into executable work packages and coordinate assignment to appropriate teams.
• Monitor dependencies, critical path activities, competing priorities, and delivery risks to ensure successful execution.
• Establish visibility into delivery status, backlog health, resource constraints, and implementation readiness.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on leave administration systems, client leave plan requirements, and technical solution design.
• Partner with clients, delivery teams, and third-party vendors to develop innovative and scalable solutions for complex business challenges.
• Translate business rules and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications and system configurations.
• Support client acceptance testing and implementation readiness activities to ensure successful solution adoption.
• Evaluate requested client customization against product standards, scalability considerations, existing capabilities, and long-term supportability.
• Partner with governance and review boards to recommend approval, rejection, redesign, or prioritization of solution requests.
