Position Summary: The Online Learning Data Analyst serves as the primary owner of data analysis, database management, and programming functions supporting Student Opinionnaire Questionnaires (SOQs), enrollment and adoption reporting, and other operational data needs within the Online Learning division. Working closely with the Director of Online Technologies, the Online Learning Data Analyst designs and maintains the databases, queries, and reporting workflows that support the division’s evaluation and reporting processes.
This position is responsible for the full cycle of day-to-day and semester-start operational data tasks, and requires strong programming, data analysis, and documentation skills along with effective communication and customer service.
Essential
Duties include:
Serve as primary owner of the preparation, execution, and reporting of Student Opinionnaire Questionnaires (SOQs) and other course evaluations. Design, build, and maintain queries, scripts, and programming solutions that support divisional data analysis, database management, and reporting automation. Prepare and analyze data and statistics for minor and major reports related to implementation, adoption, enrollment, and other operational elements as required.
Identify, track, and document course and faculty assignments and related changes. Manage and maintain operational databases supporting the Digital Learning Platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Develop and maintain documentation for databases, workflows, processes, and procedures related to primary and secondary job functions. Assist with communication and support of faculty, staff, and students related to processes, operations, and dissemination of critical data.
Assist with CiTL semester start and ongoing operations. Assist in testing, documentation, and best use cases for new data tools, software, and processes. Provide support for the management and maintenance of data elements within LMS/CMS course sites. Serve as backup coverage for Online Support Specialist and Learning Solutions Engineer functions as needed. Regular attendance on campus is required for this position.
Utilize technology, including AI-enabled tools and software where appropriate, to support the effective performance of assigned duties, enhance productivity, improve communication and information management, support decision-making, and other responsibilities, while ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements, institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Online Technologies.

This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week (2080 hours per year).
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and technology experience.
