The Mgr, I.S. Operations will supervise a team of technical analysts in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology that supports the organization's mission. This position assists reviewing industry technology, standards and best practices to create plans to ensure the technology platforms meet SLA and operation goals. This position will assist in promoting standards, developing capacity plans, roadmaps, and developing related policies and procedures.
This position is expected to collaborate with I.S peers and leadership on improvement service opportunities. The position will effectively lead the IS Operations to meet service and project in accordance with defined NHC tools, processes, and best practices. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, network, storage and OS's.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of technical roadmaps that support the I.S. Operations. Collaboratively engineer solutions for various project and operational needs.
- Analyze reports and metrics from the environment to proactively reduce risk to the NHC systems. Lead the troubleshooting of incidents and investigation of root cause analysis for problems.
- Recommend, design, and deliver projects that support the stability of the I.S. Operations. Collaborate across I.S. to implement and maintain standards for security, configuration and capacity. Develop procedures for the continuous maintenance of all platforms.
- Supervise staff on the tasks associated with design, implementation, and support of technology solutions. Actively contribute to the development of new processes and procedures that improve the department's ability to perform.
- Provide annual performance review, development plans, and training plans for staff leveraging NHC tools and processes. Develop staffing plans to insure regular rotations, on call, and special project needs are met.
** This role offers a hybrid work option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**
Required:
- With a Bachelor's Degree:
Five years in Information Systems - Without a Bachelor's Degree:
Nine years in Information Systems
Desired:
- One year in a healthcare setting;
One year management - Information Technology Infrastructure Library OR Industry Recognized Technical Certification
