Senior Data Engineer
Fully Remote (U.S.)
Candidates must reside outside of California
Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 Base + 10% Bonus (DOE)
U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders Only
Our client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and development of a modern cloud-based data platform. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant influence over data architecture, strategy, and scalability in a high-growth environment.
What You'll Do- Design and build scalable data platforms and data warehouses
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines in AWS
- Implement workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Establish data governance, quality, and engineering best practices
- Mentor junior team members and support technical leadership initiatives
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services and cloud infrastructure
- Expertise building and managing data pipelines
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt
- Healthcare data experience (HL7, FHIR, EHR, claims, risk adjustment)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data compliance
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services and cloud infrastructure
- Expertise building and managing data pipelines
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred
- Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt
