Apex Systems is hiring a QA Automation Test Engineer for a large Healthcare client.
Fully remote anywhere in the US.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to support the testing of AWS Connect phone software development during a migration from Avaya to AWS. This role operates within a large, dynamic QA team that has direct contact with development teams in an Agile environment. The position requires deep knowledge of both Avaya and AWS Connect, IVR systems, and call center workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Write test cases and perform automation testing.
- Conduct data mapping and estimate work effort for IVR requirements.
- Identify IVR conditions for requesting test data and prepare smoke testing data.
- Validate test data using Postman or SoapUI.
- Develop test strategies, define test scenarios, and create test cases from requirements.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and analyze bugs.
- Execute test cases, raise defects using Jira, and document findings in Confluence and Qtest/Quality Center.
- Education:
A bachelor's degree is required. - Experience:
2-4 years of experience with the responsibilities listed above. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with JIRA, Cyara automation, and Postman/SoapUI is required.
- Experience with testing within an Agile framework.
- Knowledge of API testing, AWS Connect Lambda testing, and Dynamo DB testing.
- Familiarity with Chat/SMS testing and payment/billing system testing.
- Experience with qTest, K6 for load testing, and Tosca automation.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
