We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to join our team. This is a remote-first role, but candidates must be based in Germany or USA and available for occasional onsite engagements with customers.

As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of VCF solutions, focusing on automation, operations, and integration with NSX. You will work closely with enterprise clients to understand their infrastructure needs and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

• Architect and implement VCF-based infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Lead technical workshops, assessments, and design sessions with clients.
• Drive automation and operational excellence across VCF deployments.
• Integrate and optimise NSX within VCF environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, delivery, and support.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Document architecture designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with VMware technologies and industry trends.

• Proven experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and deployment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with NSX (NSX‑T preferred).
• Experience in VCF automation and operations (e.g., SDDC Manager, API integrations, lifecycle management).
• Solid understanding of virtualisation, networking, and storage concepts.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel for customer onsite visits as needed.
• US application:
  Valid work permit for USA and must be physically located in USA, ideally in the Texas area.
• DE application:
  Valid work permit for Germany and must be physically located in EU.

• VMware certifications (e.g., VCAP, VCDX, or equivalent).
• Experience with scripting (PowerCLI, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud strategies and workload migration.

• Fixed annual salary US: $120,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Fixed annual salary DE: €85,000 – €115,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Performance bonus:
  Based on project delivery, customer satisfaction, and team contribution
