We are developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities for a complete Command and Control mission suite. Our solution provides the open architecture as well as mission apps that can be customized to each user's needs.

Customers can also easily integrate their favorite tools into a single CommandIQ® Common Operating Picture (COP) to meet their own, specialized mission requirements.

The Work:

CommandIQ® is seeking a systems engineer to join one of our agile development teams. In this role, you will:

• Decompose customer/stakeholder needs into higher-level roadmap features
• Document system requirements
• Create/refine MBSE models depicting system architecture and system activity/sequence diagrams
• Perform peer reviews for fellow systems engineers to review SE artifacts
• Participate in technical discussions to refine system requirements and decompose use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure requirements and customer needs are being met by CommandIQ® technical solutions.

For this role specifically, candidates who are local to Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA are preferred. Strong candidates who exceptionally match the roles and responsibilities will be considered for a fully-remote work schedule. The specific weekly work schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in MBSE (Cameo, Rhapsody)
• Experience with Requirements Definition and Documentation (DOORS, Jama)
• Experience with Use Case and Conops definition
• Previous experience with Verification and Validation activities
• Previous experience in a leadership role (technical or functional)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for 8-15 direct reports.

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
