Position: Epic Training Manager :: Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Epic Training Manager

Contract Duration: 12 months

Seeking for an Epic Training Manager to lead an enterprise-wide Epic training program. This role will oversee training strategy, curriculum development, training operations, user readiness, and training effectiveness for Epic implementations, upgrades, workflow changes, and optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Epic training team and overall training operations.
  • Develop and maintain Epic training strategies, curricula, materials, and standards.
  • Coordinate training for Epic implementations, upgrades, workflow changes, and new functionality.
  • Develop training plans, schedules, communications, and readiness milestones.
  • Partner with Epic application managers, analysts, clinical/business leaders, and governance teams.
  • Monitor training completion, competency, effectiveness, and user feedback.
  • Ensure training materials align with approved Epic workflows and organizational policies.
  • Support Epic go-live and post-go-live training, including at-the-elbow support.
  • Standardize training processes across multiple facilities and clinical environments.
  • Provide leadership with training status, metrics, risks, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience leading or managing Epic training programs in healthcare environments.
  • Experience with Epic curriculum development and training operations.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities.
  • Experience with training needs assessment and organizational readiness.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare clinical and operational workflows.
  • Experience working with Epic analysts, application teams, clinical leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as an Epic Training Manager, Epic Training Lead, or Epic Principal Trainer.
  • Experience with multi-facility Epic training programs.
  • Experience with at-the-elbow go-live support.
