IT Project Manager (EPIC Beaker)

Apex Systems is hiring an IT Project Manager (EPIC Beaker) for a large Healthcare client.

Location:

Fully remote anywhere in the US but PST or ability to work PST preferred.

Role Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Manager with Epic Beaker experience. This role involves coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, driving schedules, and working with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and possess strong facilitation skills to manage project activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of multiple projects and drive the project schedule.
• Facilitate meetings, track progress, and follow up on action items.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Create and report program status using a dashboard.
• Communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.
• Interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines.
• Utilize and manage external vendors and resources.
• Build and maintain team relationships and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

Education:

An Associate's degree is required.

Experience:

5 years of related project management experience.

Technical

Skills:

• Experience with Epic Systems, specifically with Beaker Anatomic or Clinical Pathology.
• Demonstrated project leadership, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Experience working with a lab system.
• Ability to work flexible hours, with availability during Pacific Time Zone business hours (9 AM - 5 PM) being optimal.
