The role involves data analysis, software development, dashboard creation, data management, and integrating AI tools, requiring experience with Databricks, Python, Spark, BI tools, and a secret clearance.

This is a remote position.

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Perform data analysis and provide recommendations using dashboards, visualizations, or reports using Qlik Sense (preferred) or Tableau.
• Use SQL or other applications to develop data manipulation scripts.
• Shape data to answer questions on organization and process performance.
• Analyze data sets from disparate data sources to discover data patterns, trends, insights, and areas of concern.
• Shape numbers into narratives to help decision-making processes.
• Brief senior leadership.
• Define and execute data management techniques and products that promote effective creation of data science, enterprise analytics, and AI products.
• Receive, store, analyze, and protect non-sensitive and sensitive data involving DoW military and civilian personnel and military personnel dependents.
• Aptitude with technical writing and editing for business audiences.

• 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, with demonstrated hands-on experience with technologies such as Databricks, Python, Spark, and Pandas.
• Proficiency in Qlik.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results with little direction/oversight.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve product quality and delivery speed.
• Experience with Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.

• Experience with Machine Learning models and/or Generative AI.
• Experience with cloud data structures such as AWS S3, Delta Tables.
• Demonstrated experience building end-to-end data pipelines in Databricks, with an ability to integrate existing legacy systems.
