We are seeking a Senior Technology Business Management (TBM) Apptio Administrator with strong hands‑on experience administering, configuring, and optimizing the Apptio platform. The ideal candidate will support TBM roadmap execution, model health, platform performance, reporting, dashboards, financial close activities, and ongoing model enhancements.

This role will play a key part in strategic initiatives including Product alignment, development of new AI towers for reporting and chargeback, Automated Data Management (ADM) migration, and the rollout of the new Report Viewer.

• Administer and support the Apptio TBM platform, including configuration, security, users, workflows, and platform settings.
• Execute the TBM roadmap and support continuous platform improvements.
• Perform regular model health checks, troubleshoot data/model issues, and ensure model integrity.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Apptio models, reports, dashboards.
• Provide architecture guidance and recommend scalable Apptio/TBM solutions.
• Configure and maintain TBM models, cost structures, allocations, towers, and business mappings.
• Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level visualizations.
• Support financial close activities, including validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Perform model enhancements based on evolving business and technology requirements.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Apptio users and stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Product, and business teams to align TBM models with organizational requirements.
• Support Product alignment initiatives and ensure appropriate technology/product cost attribution.
• Design and implement new AI towers to support reporting, cost transparency, allocation, and chargeback requirements.
• Support migration to Automated Data Management (ADM) and associated data integration processes.
• Assist with the implementation and adoption of the new Apptio Report Viewer.
• Document configurations, architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual TBM processes and improve data quality and reporting efficiency.

• 7+ years of experience in Technology Business Management, IT Financial Management, or related technology finance functions.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Apptio / IBM Apptio administration and configuration.
• Experience with Apptio TBM models, towers, cost pools, allocations, and hierarchies.
• Strong understanding of TBM taxonomy and cost transparency.
• Experience developing Apptio reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Apptio data management, data sources, integrations, and data validation.
• Strong knowledge of model health checks and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting month‑end/financial close activities within TBM environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Apptio configuration, data, and reporting issues.
• Experience providing architecture and solution guidance for Apptio implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Experience with Apptio One / Apptio TBM Studio.
• Experience with Automated Data Management (ADM).
• Experience implementing or supporting AI‑related TBM towers.
• Experience with chargeback/showback models.
• Experience with Product‑centric TBM / Product alignment.
• Experience with Apptio Report Viewer.
• Knowledge of IT finance, budgeting, forecasting, and technology cost allocation.
• Experience integrating Apptio with ERP, CMDB, ITSM, cloud, and financial data sources.
• Experience with data transformation, ETL, APIs, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
