Job Summary

Provides deep subject matter expertise and leadership for enterprise architecture activities. Provides support for creation of a long-term strategic roadmap for future state architecture of all Molina information technology (IT) systems. Designs architectures for delivery, development, and support of enterprise information technology (IT) projects and initiatives.

Job Duties
  • Represents as a top technical expert in leading complex enterprise information technology (IT) consulting projects, and ensures the success of enterprise application rollouts.
  • Leads cross-functional enterprise architecture programs and change efforts.
  • Assists with mergers and acquisitions; leads IT integrations.
  • Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
  • Leverages deep expertise in system development and software, hardware, data and technology across multiple platforms to support the business.
  • Aligns IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals and objectives.
  • Drives the creation and implementation of the long-term strategic roadmap for all IT systems architecture.
  • Seamlessly integrates business and service strategies into the enterprise architecture roadmap.
  • Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Provides technical leadership across the enterprise on large-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Understands, advocates, and supports the enterprise's business and IT strategies.
  • Analyzes industry, technology, and market trends to determine potential impacts on the enterprise.
  • Analyzes the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommends solutions for improvement.
  • Drives the implementation of new versions of enterprise policy, process and guidelines.
  • Consults with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints.
  • Defines organizational requirements for resources, structural, and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture team.
  • Writes senior position papers and leads executive briefing.
  • Provides training, mentoring and support to new and existing enterprise IT architecture team members.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of information technology (IT) experience developing enterprise architecture models and strategic roadmaps, and experience in systems integration design, development, and implementation, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of management/leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, statistics, business, health care, engineering, etc.
  • Advanced IT architecture understanding/experience including the software development lifecycle (SLDC).
  • Advanced information systems (IS) and programs expertise, including multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments with knowledge of all components of enterprise technical architecture.
  • Microsoft .NET platform development or Java development.
  • Hands-on cloud implementation experience (Azure, GCP and/or AWS).
  • Knowledge of health care payer processes/industry/trends.
  • Ability to execute data queries and analysis to support fact-based decision-making.
  • Strong data-analysis and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strategic planning and process design/improvement experience.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization, and influence stakeholders on scalable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office stack (including advanced Excel), and SQL proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) methodology/framework experience.
  • Managed care experience, including knowledge of health care payer systems, standards, and protocols.
  • Understanding of health care industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Pay Range: $96,325.57 - $208,705.4 / ANNUAL
