Salary Range: $81,504 - $122,256

The position is designated Statutory Exempt (EHRA) and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.

This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work. Any telework will be under the conditions of the state Teleworking Program Policy and the employer may end any teleworking arrangement at any time in the employer's sole discretion.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Analyst II. The primary purpose of Enterprise Business Services (EBS) within the Department of Information Technology - Transportation is to provide the full spectrum of information processing services and support for the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This position is staffed to Enterprise Business Services an IT competency center whose mission is to provide a comprehensive DOT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system utilizing SAP software.

Under the direction of an IT manager, this position will provide leadership, technical guidance, and direction to other team members on the Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Development Team.

Duties
  • Independently perform a full range of advanced analytical and technical activities, utilizing the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Perform complex analysis, design, programming, testing and support on requested modifications and enhancements to all the SAP related modules and their processes
  • Write highly complex requirement documents, detail design documents, technical specifications, and test scripts
  • Manage the completion of change requests from initiation through completion and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience performing application development in a large-scale SAP software environment including reviewing and analyzing user requests, requirements gathering, estimating, applications analysis and design, debugging, testing, implementation, documentation, and support for appropriate programs and systems
  • Experience in independently managing priorities, project timelines, resources, staff, and implementation efforts
  • Demonstrated skills in oral and written communications with users, peers, management, and professional staff
