Glia Cell is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer and sustain mission‑critical software and systems.

• Provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system using cutting‑edge technologies.

• Architect infrastructure leveraging AWS technologies and services.
• Develop Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Configure and tune containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Perform high‑level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, cost analysis, implementation, and complex issue resolution.
• Identify and recommend cloud infrastructure cost‑saving measures to reduce AWS service costs.
• Decompose sprint priorities and generate tickets to align with team objectives.
• Manage team tasking and sprint workloads, keeping the team on track.
• Track ticket execution while driving technical direction of the infrastructure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code using Git Lab runners and Argo CD.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.

• Active or re‑statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance; CI within last 7 years.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 12+ years of professional experience, or 10+ years with a related master’s degree.
• Current CWIP (DoD 8140) certificate.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, Athena, Step Functions) using Terraform and auto‑scaling.
• Knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, NAT, Internet Gateway).
• Develop and manage Git Lab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.
• Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate.

Annapolis Junction, MD (onsite full‑time). The position requires the majority of work to be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Limited work from home is available.

$200,000 to $280,000 annually. Sign‑on bonus eligible. Salary is determined by level, skills, experience, and certifications.
