Senior Software Architect
Health System Services (HSS) was founded in 1990 and is one of the leading technology providers and service providers in the German healthcare market. Our main areas of activity include approval and billing management, software development and provision as well as digitization and archiving services for health insurance companies.
We are looking for you for our business area in Dortmund with around 170 employees. For our customers in the healthcare sector, we develop software for the digitization of business processes from architecture to implementation. We rely on standard technologies, but also keep an eye on new developments.
With us you work in the dynamic environment of an IT company with current technologies and IT systems.
Your Tasks- Development and implementation of the company architecture with international teams
- Conception of architecture strategies and coordination with management and architecture board
- Organization, moderation and follow-up of architecture decisions
- Advisory to management as well as prioritization of projects together with product management
- Analysis of existing systems and development of innovative software solutions
- Promotion of modern technologies, agile methods and engineering standards
- Ensuring compliance with architectural principles, guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment
- Promotion of employees as well as active accompaniment of change processes
- Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in the healthcare sector or public sector
- Very good understanding of modern software architectures and development methods (e.g. SOA, APIs, Cloud, CI/CD)
- Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Ideally knowledge of regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector as well as experience in international teams
- Excellent communication skills, empathy and social competence
- Ability to motivate teams and combine technical and professional perspectives
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high sense of responsibility
- Very good German and English skills
- Sophistication in dealing with conflicts, feedback and decision-making processes
