• Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes to enhance the performance, accessibility, and ease of management of the platform and its related services.
• Establish and manage administrator and service accounts, maintain accurate system documentation, and resolve technical issues.
• Utilize scripting tools to craft self‑service capabilities within the Platform as a Service (PaaS), fostering a seamless developer experience for development teams.
• Collaborate closely with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, ensuring smooth operations.
• Take operational responsibility for the services under the team’s ownership.
• Continuously enhance the product, delivering software that resonates positively with users and meets their needs effectively.

• 6‑10 years of experience in cloud or platform operations across diverse environments.
• Proficiency in administering AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
• Expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Proficient use of Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Subject matter expertise in Linux operating system administration.
• Experience developing automation solutions using scripting languages to streamline recurring tasks.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies such as load balancers, DNS, SSL, firewalls, NAT, and NTP.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for operating systems and applications.
• Experience handling large‑scale production systems and resolving production‑related challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Enthusiasm for skill growth and tackling complex issues.
• Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Located within commuting distance to Aurora, CO and able to work onsite on a hybrid basis.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship required. A background investigation will be performed.

• Advanced troubleshooting using the Linux/Unix command line interface.
• Professional certifications such as RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA.
• Background in Dev Ops automation practices.
• Direct client interaction experience.
• Familiarity with DoD operations, particularly within a DoD "Software Factory" context.
