Are you passionate about data and ready to help define the architectural direction for digital customer experience insights? The Experience Architecture suite within our Enterprise Technology/Digital Channel Performance department is looking for a Technical Architect to help us design scalable, high-quality data solutions that power privacy and digital insights to ensure we are collecting and connecting data in support of our Digital Growth and Experience goals.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Collaborate with product teams, enterprise partners, and data stewards to design and govern data solutions that ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the Digital Experience ecosystem.
- Focus on consumer privacy. Work with Office of Privacy, keep up with the changing privacy landscape, and consult on solutions that ensure compliance with privacy legislation.
- Lead data architecture efforts that enable AI and automation adoption — identify enhancements, establish governance frameworks, and deliver scalable data foundations.
- Provide cross-product visibility by helping teams understand data impacts, integrations, and end-to-end data flows across Digital Experience systems and beyond.
- Evaluate new work intake for data architecture impact and develop high-level designs for initiatives that break new ground.
- Drive data simplification — identify opportunities to reduce duplication and accelerate digital insights modernization.
- A data-driven Technical Architect with experience in data architecture, data modeling, data governance, or data engineering.
- Skilled at telling the "broad horizontal story" - connecting the dots across systems, teams, and data flows to paint a clear picture of the data landscape.
- Experienced in collaborating across teams and areas to guide strategic data decisions and resolve cross-team challenges.
- A challenger of the status quo who asks probing questions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excited about applying AI and emerging technologies to transform how data is managed, consumed, and governed.
- At least 5 years experience influencing the design of technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on data architecture, data integration, or data platform design.
- Demonstrated experience with data modeling, data lineage, data governance, or data pipeline design.
- Excellent communication skills in all forms: written, verbal, and visual (diagrams).
- Proven record of being able to use your network to work across suites and areas.
- Experience with database technologies, data warehousing, streaming platforms, or enterprise data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements and how data architecture enables AI-driven solutions is a plus.
- Experience working with vendors and integrating with State Farm ecosystem is a plus.
