PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc., a progressive software development company in Medford, OR, is looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced QA Analyst
. The candidate must be local to the Southern Oregon area.
The QA Analyst ensures high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual and automated testing, risk analysis, and validation across the SDLC. This role also leverages AI-assisted testing tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and coverage in healthcare software validation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESThe Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst relies on a broad skill set of technical experience, industry knowledge, judgment, and continual skill development to plan and accomplish goals; regularly performing and managing time against a variety of complicated tasks with varying priorities under general supervision.
- Create manual and automated test cases and test case scripts
- Perform automated and manual testing, analyzing, and documenting associated results
- Document defects with detail, accuracy, and conciseness while ensuring the defect is reproducible
- Provide risk assessment and other feedback throughout the SDLC
- Review and analyze artifacts and deliverables throughout the SDLC
- Map requirements to functional design elements and/or system workflows for test creation
- Troubleshoot complex setups to isolate, determine, and report defect root cause
- Review user documentation for accuracy of implemented functionality descriptions
- Ability to work from home as needed
- Timely, high-quality fulfillment of essential functions and basic duties
- Knowledge, application, and adherence to PLEXIS process methodology and corresponding tools used to support such methodology
- Timely and consistent response/turn-around of status reports, time entry and other documentation required by PLEXIS
- Professional business communications (verbal, written and professional appearance)
- Multi-tasking and successful prioritization of daily duties to maximize project(s) success

- BS degree in Computer Science and/or demonstration of equivalent experience
- 3+ years of QA or software testing experience, preferably in healthcare or health IT
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Claude Code)
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and AI-augmented testing tools for test generation, self-healing automation, and defect/results analysis
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and testing methodologies
- Basic to advanced mathematics with an understanding of basic to complex software logic
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of software development and the SDLC
Required:
- Strong attention to detail

- Experience testing Web Application, Web Services, and REST/SOAP API’s
- Ability to systematically analyze new and/or existing software functionality
- Ability to create and maintain databases using MS SSMS
