About This JobWells Fargo is looking for a Lead Information Tasks Examiner. The Client Information Items Group is searching for an accomplished specialist with a solid comprehension of large data lake environments that can work with various development teams to investigate system and data quality issues and remediate the issues before they affect our products and services. This asset will also take on smaller projects to develop our infrastructure support capabilities, including the implementation of new monitoring tools, design of new workflows and preparation for the launch of new products.
Responsibilities- Lead support activities for a team of data analytics items used to help internal banking processes.
- Act as a key member in identifying and triaging incidents affecting our client data monitoring stage.
- Break down complex technical task challenges inside a large data environment that require end‑to‑end analysis.
- Lead research and create reports related to continuous development drives and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the advancement of new task integrations and platform enhancements.
- Be the central contact with the internal team and ensure communication and detailed reporting of offshore team outputs.
- Champion continuous improvement, including the creation of new systems and open doors.
- Contribute to the foundation of performance standards for the team and ensure activities meet or surpass performance metrics.
- Direct the daily IT and Control stream of tasks, focusing on plans, methodology, and work guidelines to ensure a good outcome; redesigning and driving consistent support improvement.
- Lead teams to meet time constraints and drive new initiatives.
- Audit, endorse, and execute prescribed changes to plans.
- Collaborate and communicate with employees to determine initiatives and accomplish innovation mandates.
- Act as a tutor to peers.
- 2+ years of investigation experience, or comparable displayed through work, training, military experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting large data environments.
- 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analysis capabilities on large data platforms such as Hadoop.
- 2+ years of experience using a mix of tools:
Hive, Pandas, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk. - Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB.
Capacity to travel up to 10% of the time. This position offers a hybrid work plan.
